It's the most potent vehicle Roush Performance has ever created.

The 2020 Ford Mustang Jack Roush Edition can give the Shelby Super Snake a run for its money.

The 2020 Ford Mustang Jack Roush Edition debuted at the 2019 SEMA Show, and proved that it's not another beefed-up muscle car. The vehicle is a high-performance model of the sixth-generation Mustang designed by Roush Performance.

To celebrate Jack Roush's entry into the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Roush Performance developed the Mustang and called it the Jack Roush Edition. The company only manufactured 70 models of this powerful automobile, making the Roush Mustang an instant collector's item.

The Jack Roush Edition Mustang is the most potent vehicle Roush Performance has ever created. The car surpasses Mustang's iconic Shelby GT500 and Shelby GT350. Roush tuned every component in the Mustang to make it better. It offers advanced features that one can find in the latest high-performing sports cars.

Let's find out more about this vehicle and why it's so awesome.

Even though Roush Performance changed everything in their Mustang, they couldn't change the exterior because the 2020 Ford Mustang has a remarkable design. But that shouldn't be a problem because the Roush Mustang has unique features that make it stand out from the regular Mustang.

Despite being similar, Roush Performance made minor changes to the exterior, like placing their typical Roush grille between the headlamps. It comes with thin horizontal bars instead of the Mustang's fine mesh.

The bumper has black triangular side vents below the turn signals, while the bottom portion of the bumper is painted in black for a striking contrast with the rest of the fascia. You can find white "Roush" lettering in the lower center vent and a large splitter at the bottom.

You'll notice three significant alterations to the side. Firstly, the Roush Mustang features tri-bar vents and Roush badges on the front fenders. The second change is the side skirts on the Roush Mustang are sportier than the ones on the standard Mustang. Thirdly, the coupe comes with new forged wheels wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires.

You might also notice black stripes running just above the side skirts, but they are not visible on darker paints. Also, if you pay attention, you'll see American flag decals on the rear fenders.

Unlike the front end, the rear end is more similar to the standard Mustang, but it also has a handful of features that make it stand out. An active carbon fiber wing is the most important upgrade as the designers developed this wing to increase downforce.

This wing is adjustable and changes its position depending on the vehicle's speed and how you drive the car. Also, the designers replaced the regular Mustang panel with a black panel fascia with "Roush" lettering.

The inside of the Roush Mustang is a little more luxurious than the standard Mustang. Roush Performance upgraded the interior, which now has red suede sitting surfaces for the seats and quality black leather with red stitching.

For improved grip, Roush Performance coated the steering wheel in suede. The steering wheel also has red stitching and a red stripe at the 12 o'clock position. The designers branded the floor mats and footrest with the "Roush" logo, and the dashboard has carbon-like panels.

Under the hood, there's a 5.0-liter V-8 that produces 775 horsepower and 670 pound-feet of torque. The engine has a Phase 3 upgrade, which includes a TVS R2650 supercharger that makes the Roush Mustang powerful.

According to Roush Performance, the Mustang can go from 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds. But this shouldn't be a surprise because the Mustang features an active exhaust with four selectable modes and a MageRide suspension for improved performance.

Additionally, Roush Performance offers an optional Competition Pack that includes unique lightweight wheels from Roush and Weld Racing. The wheels have Continental ExtremeContact DR racing slick tires wrapped on them. The tires enable the vehicle to achieve an impressive 1.14g on a skid pad. Unfortunately, these tires are exclusively designed for usage on tracks.

The Jack Edition Mustang has an MSRP of $50,000. But because Roush Performance produced 70 units (60 for the U.S market and 10 for the international market), the Roush Mustang's price will skyrocket at auction sites soon.

Roush Performance has made some cool Mustangs over the years, but the 2020 Jack Roush Edition is the coolest. The important details inside and out and the jerked-up supercharger turns this vehicle into a solid competitor for the Shelby Super Snake.
